  1. Introduction

With Findup, we embarked on a project aimed at reducing the gender gap in entrepreneurship by providing women with access to financing and essential support. The goal was to create an effective solution using the Lean UX methodology, focusing on quickly developing a minimum viable product (MVP) and validating it with real users. This approach enables agile product creation and rapid iteration.

  1. Initial Research

The project began with brief research to identify opportunities and needs in entrepreneurship. Our team analyzed empowerment campaigns, data on women in leadership, and examples of related startups. Based on these insights, we brainstormed ideas and evaluated their feasibility and risks using a decision matrix. This process helped prioritize innovative solutions distinct from existing

  1. Product Definition

The chosen product was a financing comparator complemented by services such as advisory support, work-life balance solutions, and a community platform. To empathize with users, we created specific profiles representing diverse situations and needs, from young entrepreneurs to mothers seeking balance or women requiring safe spaces.

  1. Prototyping and Landing Page

The MVP included a landing page showcasing the product's benefits, along with an initial product prototype outlining its core functionality. The process involved sketches, wireframes in Figma, and a high-fidelity prototype.

  1. MVP Implementation

We developed the landing page using WordPress and Elementor, setting up menus, informational sections, and a temporary page for the comparator, adhering to the initial design of the prototype

  1. Validation and Metrics

To measure the MVP's impact, we established key metrics such as unique user visits, page scroll depth, and clicks on calls to action (CTAs). Tools like Hotjar and Google Analytics were configured to gather data and analyze interactions.

Learnings

This project enhanced my skills in rapid research, idea prioritization, and MVP creation. I learned to balance agility with quality in design and development while focusing on delivering user-centered solutions.
