User experience

Project to improve the user experience of the trains and stations of the Madrid Cercanías service. The goal was to understand the users and their frustrations and propose solutions to alleviate them. The chosen solution was to provide more information about the schedules and incidents.

Improvements in station access

Standardization of the design of the screens at station entrances. The following trains from different lines would be displayed, along with any delays that may have occurred. 

Platform improvements

Standardization of the indicators. Information about the next two trains would be displayed.

Improvements in the application

The current design of the application would be enhanced, and two new functionalities would be added to check current issues and set an alarm to notify the user when one occurs.

Improvements on the website

Similar to those of the application, but maintaining the upper and lower menu of the current Renfe website to maintain coherence.
